Not sure where they’ve received the information from but Telegraph is reporting that Google is likely to unveil it’s first mobile phone manufactured by the Taiwanese company HTC in November, much ahead of the coming Christmas shopping season. It is also made known that the phone which is christened as Dream or HTC Dream will be available exclusively on the T-Mobile network in the UK.

Telegraph also reports that while it is expected to be available in stores as early as November, the device is likely to be launched at a special press conference in New York next Tuesday.
The HTC Dream handset will be the first phone to run Google’s new mobile phone operating system, Google Android. The HTC Dream is expected to compete with the much awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 which is is releasing on September 30th. Like the SE XPERIA X1, The HTC Dream will have a slide-out Qwerty keyboard as well as a built-in GPS (global-positioning system), and is expected to run Google’s range of web applications such as its email service Gmail, productivity suite Google Docs and mapping service Google Maps. It is also very likely to feature Google’s new web browser, Google Chrome.

HTC has been having a lot of good press lately. On Tuesday, HTC unveiled three more touchscreen devices, all of which run on Windows Mobile Operating System(the SE XPERIA X1 will also run on the lastest version of Windows Mobile Operating System), a platform that Google Android will be competing with.
