All of us have always wanted to try out various services that spring up on the Internet. One thing that has stopped us from going ahead is the fear of our mailbox getting flooded with spam. Well, now ‘10 Minute Mail’ has a Solution!

At 10 Minute Mail, by clicking on a link, you are assigned a temporary e-mail address which will be valid for 10 minutes. You will then be taken to a webpage, which shows your email address, time left before it expires and the mails received in that address. You can open and read your received mails (typically validation mails, etc.), click on links and even reply to those mails if required.

If you want to hold on to your temporary email address for longer, you can just extend its validity for another 10 minutes. This is a very simple, yet highly effective way of checking out the numerous sites and forums that require to sign-up. Once you are convinced about the service, you can always sign up using your usual email address.

This does pose a problem for webmasters and forum moderators, due to a pile up dummy accounts on their servers. But for the end user this is probably one of the best ways to keep spam at a distance.
