Saturday, May 19th, 2007 | Advertising, Google, Internet with No Comments »

Sam Sethi of Vecosys is said to have heard from a ‘very trusted source’ that Google is in the process of buying Feedburner in order to get into the rapidly growing RSS Ad Market and the deal would have been announced sooner, had it not been for the DoubleClick purchase.

Feedburner

By this move, Google is very likely to bring in ads from Adsense and DoubleClick to the feeds which till now have been largely free of ads. Also, Google are likely to merge the Feedburner with Google Analytics so that the user can get all the stats at one place.
