While I know it is risky to answer calls while driving my car, I do it sometimes. I place my Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 on my mobile phone holder and put it on speakerphone whenever a call comes. How to use auto answer calls on Windows Mobile phones with myCar Profile:
- Ensure that the application is running to enable the auto answering feature.
- Ensure that you enter a value less than the value set for call forwarding services in the talk after (0-30) seconds box, otherwise your incoming calls will go to voicemail.
- For easier usage, you can assign a hardware button to start using myCar Profile.
To activate the auto answer feature, start the application and click on ‘Speakerphone on’ as shown in the screenshot above and you can turn off the speakerphone for all calls as in the screenshot below.
You can also use myCar Profile for auto answering calls with or without a headset.
Like I mentioned before, a mobile application to auto answer calls on speakerphone is heaven sent for people like me who spend quite a lot of time traveling and don’t like missing/skipping calls. Download myCar Profile.
