The inevitable has happened! Google Apps is out of beta(no, really!).

The Twitosphere, blogosphere and what-not-o-sphere is buzzing with this news. With its uncanny ability to surprise people, Google declared that Google Apps will no longer carry the Beta tag – that they have grown up enough.

Gmail has been in beta for so long(5 years: yes, you read it right, 5 years) that its hard to believe that it has finally come out of it. Not only it but the entire range of Google Apps – Gmail, Calendar, Gtalk and Docs.

I’ve been using Gmail for a long time, I joined it on Valentine’s Day four years ago(that explains the love). It created a rage with unlimited storage back then and it has added great value to itself over the years – labels, chat, a search that actually works, in chat video, labs, themes – you say it, Gmail has it.

Now that Gmail comes out of beta, I wish it all the luck and wish that the innovations don’t end here. To it and all the Google Apps – Congratulations!

(Update: Ankuj just informed us that Gtalk is still in beta. Yes! Even we are wondering what happened? Anyway, thanks Ankuj for bringing it to our notice)
