It’s that time of the year when everyone talks about the Academy Awards popularly known as the Oscars. The Annual Academy Awards are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry, including directors, actors, and writers and this is the 81st time these awards are being presented.

The 81st Annual Academy / Oscar Awards 2009 is scheduled to commence on 22nd February (5PT / 8ET). If you are in the US, you can watch it on ABC. In other countries, here’s a list of channels in which the Oscar Awards are telecast live.
