I’m very active on Twitter (Follow me!) and I’d love to know who’s following me and more importantly who’s unfollowing me on Twitter. Twitter has an option by which the user can be intimated on who’s following him or her. Unfortunately, Twitter doesn’t send you a mail or intimate you in any way too. Also, not all twitter users give you reasons like the one below did as to why he was unfollowing someone.

If you do want to find out who’s unfollowing you, then you should head to Qwitter. Qwitter not only helps you in letting you know who unfollowed you, but also tells you after which tweet did your followers decide to unfollow. This might give the user an idea as to why the follower has decided to unfollow.

As you can see, all Qwitter asks for is for your username and your email address. If someone unfollows you, it sends you an email with information such as who unfollowed you and after which tweet of yours. See the example below.

Simple, isn’t it? There’s no sign up, no confirmation mail and there’s an unsubscribe link with each mail that you get. I guess Twitter ought to buy out Qwitter. It’s a really good Twitter service that every active Twitter user should be using!
