#2 is obvious. Most multi-window tabbed apps behave that way. I’d be quite surprised if Firefox didn’t.

People keep mentioning about:crashes, but I get “the URL is not valid and cannot be loaded” when I try.

#4, you can also right click on a search box to add a keyword to search it.
