A Ghost Blog is a blog that is run and managed by an anonymous author(s). A ghost blog can also be a blog written by a company or person on behalf of another company or person. Below is Scott Adams’ awesome cartoon on Ghost Blogging.
Ghost Blogging is something I hate to do. To draw a loyal, engaging and unconditional audience trust is very important. Once your readers observe that you are lifting content or someone is ghost blogging for you, it can cause a lot of damage.
The whole purpose of a you starting a blog is to connect with your stakeholders, having a ghost blogger will kill that very purpose. No one can express your feelings on a issue. If you do not have an opinion or nothing to communicate then it is better to be silent than ask someone to write for you.
